8 Seconds

"8 Saniye" tells the story of Esra İnal, a Turkish girl born and raised in Berlin, who seeks freedom within her inner world despite the challenges she faces in a male-dominated society. The youngest of five siblings, Esra feels trapped in her life, constantly clashing with the rules imposed upon her. Leading two parallel lives, Esra struggles with restlessness in her waking life while becoming more aware in her dreams, searching for a mysterious man who has appeared since her childhood. As her dreams begin to mirror her reality, Esra embarks on a journey to find herself and a way out.
