King Lear

The aging monarch Lear decides to divide his kingdom among his three daughters based on their declarations of love for him. The two elder daughters, Goneril and Regan, offer flattering speeches, while the youngest, Cordelia, refuses to engage in such flattery, leading Lear to disown her. As Lear's decision sets off a chain of tragic events, he grapples with betrayal, madness, and the unraveling of his kingdom.
